Happy Beachy Thanksgiving...

We made our annual Thanksgiving trek south to Surfside beach! We left at 5 a.m. on the 19th and made it down there in record time with the best kids ever! With a stop, we were at the condo in 7 hours and 20 minutes...almost unheard of! The boys were so excited to get out on the beach and this was one of the BEST years for being out there. From Friday through black Friday, we had weather well into the 70's and the boys were out on the beach and even in the water every day.

To say that they were worn out was an understatement! Long naps, early to bed and some crankiness were all a part of our Thanksgiving! We had so much fun though and really enjoyed our time. The ride back was pretty good too...we made good time, but the kids weren't quite as good on the way back. It was obvious they were tired and were sad to be leaving the beach...there was a LOT of whining!!!

Let's just say that there was a lot of sand moving last week. One of their other favorite activities was to take their shovels and throw jellyfish back into the ocean!

Jason, Caleb, Austin and Hayden (step-cousin). They were burying Jason while Mr. Frank watched and laughed. (I didn't get Mr. Frank's head in the picture!)

A beautiful sunrise...gosh, there were so many wonderful sunrises and sunsets, but I love the reflection in this picture!
