Lifelong Friends

You know, the journey of life is made so much better by travelling with your friends. There are some things that you always hope will come true when you are thinking about your life, go to college, get married, have a family are all part of it! But as you get a little older, there are other things that start to play into that equation...like you hope that you love your extended family, that you spouse and your best friends spouse are friends and as is this case, that your best friends kids and your kids are friends as well.

Well, I can honestly say that it warms my heart to see Caleb and Mason play together. The first trip we made to Kansas after Mason was born, Caleb was just fascinated with him and started talking about him. Then last year we spent time with them in Omaha for Kate's brothers wedding and the boys were inseparable. We headed out when "baby logie" was born and they not only remembered each other, but fed off of each other and had so much fun. Well, it had been since October, but you would have thought they played together all the time. The boys had so much fun and it is such a joy for me (and I think Kate too) to see it! We are so blessed!!!!
