Just the beginning

We have been in our "new" house for almost two years and the biggest project of all, finishing the basement, is now underway. Phase one was to get the attic above the garage all set so that we could put some storage stuff up there. Step two was to put up a wall across the area that we are going to use as storage in the basement. See, there are two steps down into our family room and it crosses into the basement, so there is no way that we could finish that part anyway, so thus it will become storage. So this picture is of the finished wall! Next step is to jackhammer the floor so that we can put a bathroom in! YAY!
