The boys had been begging to go back to Hershey Park ever since our visit for my half-marathon last October. So, on the last day of summer vacation, Jennifer and I decided it was a good idea to trek up to Pennsylvania for a little amusement park adventure.
We didn't tell the kids what we were doing and did a fun game of 20 questions with them. Okay, so it turned into about 50 questions and lots of hints...(including, you'll get lots of kisses and hugs there!) and finally Caleb figured it out! The shrieks were a lot of fun to hear and then we also heard a lot of "when are we going to get there?"
All in all it was a great day. The kids were very skeptical of the
rides, but towards the end we were able to get them on a wooden roller
coaster. I was honestly starting to worry a little bit. Their favorite
rides were the old "boardwalk" rides, the Whip, the Music Express, the
Ferris Wheel and the carousel!

And of course, the sign of a great day...at 9:15 when we finally got in the car to head home, Austin was asleep before we left the parking lot! (I would also like to mention that Jennifer has a similar picture of Addison!)
