Redskins Game

We felt so lucky! Not only can it be really difficult to get tickets to a Redskins game, they can also be really expensive. Well, as it turns out, they aren't so good this year so going to the game isn't the prime that it used to be. We were also incredibly lucky...Jason's Dad came into some free tickets and sent them up this way. He was going to come up, but last minute plans changed, so Jason and I decided to go to the game anyway! The Saturday before the game it snowed (not much, but just enough to make it really cold) We left the kids with my mom and headed to the game. Neither of us had ever been to FedEx Field so it was a fun first experience. I will also say that it was pretty darn cold. It was 31 degrees at kickoff and we were four rows from the top in the upper deck...on the shady side of the stadium. They were also nice enough to NOT clear the seats from the snow, so it was a cold game. Yes, we left early in the fourth quarter with the Redskins up by 10 on the Saints we figured we would get a head start. As it turns out, it was a fantastic game and we missed the finish! FIGURES!
